For the fall semester 2018, students in HIST 2291: The Historian’s Craft explored, researched, and presented aspects of Idaho State University’s history and the development of the immediate university neighborhood. This included ISU’s response to larger national and international events, as well as economic, political, and social issues. This project required students to select an individual aspect of that subject, research it independently, and prepare an 800-word micro history from primary sources located in the Eli Oboler Library and its Special Collections Department.
